Eva Longoria filed for divorce after discovering Tony Parker had an affair with a teammate's wife.People magazine reported that Longoria found hundreds of text messages on her husband's phone.
Friend and Extra's correspondent Mario Lopez, revealed Longoria explained the reason why the couple split.
"She is devastated, she wants us all to know that," Lopez said. "But she's strong."
The name of the woman and which San Antonio Spurs player she is married to has not been released.
Longoria and Parker have not commented on the reasons for their divorce, but have posted messages on Twitter to announce the break up.
"It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce. We love each other deeply and pray for each other's happiness."
