Early hours this morning, UK rapper Ironik was hospitalised after being stabbed during an attempted robbery.
Whilst returning home from a gig at an Essex club, the rapper received a non-threatening wound to the upper leg by two hooded males.
Ironik's publicist released a statement to the Daily Mail newspaper: "Ironik was attacked and stabbed in the early hours of Saturday morning during an attempted robbery whilst returning to his home in North London.
"He was stabbed in his upper leg, taken to hospital and is currently being treated. He is understandably shaken up by this unprovoked attack."
Police confirmed most of Ironik's jewellery was stolen in the incident.
