Brit Awards Will Revamp

Brit Awards organisers have revealed that the entire ceremony will be revamped for its 2011 show on February 15 at The O2 in London.

The 'Outstanding Contribution' award will the first award to go as the newly 'MasterCard British Album of the Year' award has been made as the major award of the night.

The 2011 show will be awarding seven categories for British music.

Best Male
Best Female
Best Breakthrough
Best Single
Best Group
Critics' Choice MasterCard
British Album of the Year

The Brit's will also reward five international awards including

Best Male
Best Female
Best Breakthrough
Best Album
Best Group

Another change will feature British fashion designer, Vivienne Westwood as the official designer for the award tophies.

Nominations will be announced on January 13, 2011 at IndigO2 and aired on ITV2 at 8pm the following day.
