Sunday night saw the best in unsigned Soul and R&B music at The Soul Live Lounge at Bar Music Hall, Shoreditch, London.

Singing sensation Charmain Andrews, X-Factor's 2009 contestant Duane Lamonte, 2010's MOBO nominee Rachel Kerr and Psalms the sister of British Soul singer Omar took to the mic.

The night hosted by Mr Play and Jay Knox included live band performances from our resident band, SouthPaw Saints followed by Poetry from Dexter F and the amazing four unsigned acts.

The soulful evening was complimented by a panel of industry advisers. BBC 1Xtra DJ Ace, Pride magazine Showbiz Editor Joanna Abeyie and artist manager Sam Abebayo provide feedback to the acts on what the industry is looking for.

The night ended with the sounds of classic and future soul by our resident DJ Big L.
