It has been reported that Jennifer Lopez is taking only taking on her American Idol judging role to help husband Marc Anthony pay his debts.According to E! Online, Latino pop singer Anthony has an estimated $3.4m (£2.2m) in unpaid taxes with the Internal Revenue Service.
A New York judgements and liens filing dating back to March 29 records that Anthony was billed with a tax lien on property he owns in Long Island.
The singer also had a lien filed against the same real estate in December 2009 for $1.6m (£1m), bringing the total amount owed to the IRS to $3.4m.
