It has been reported that Britain's sweetheart has flown out to South Africa for a holiday with Derek Hough.The two are thought to be spending New Year's Eve together in a £3,000-a-night luxury villa overlooking Cape Town, South Africa.
This is the first time that Cole has been in the continent since she contracted malaria from a trip to Tanzania with Hough over the summer.
A source told The Sun newspaper, "Friends warned about going back to Africa so soon afterwards."
"But Derek did his homework and found Cape Town is a malaria-free region."
"He wanted to make sure Cheryl had a good start to 2011 after her worst year ever. Then he just told her to pack a bag as he'd organised a holiday for them."
