X Factor girl group Belle Amie have revealed on Twitter that they are working on their own material.
Rebecca Creighton, Esther Campbell, Geneva Lane and Sophia Wardman will begin to work on their first track in the studio next week.
The band revealed the news to fans on Twitter: "Be excited guys, Belle Amie will be recording some new original material in the New Year, spread the word. This is just the beginning. There are a few surprises and shockers on the way but it will all be worth it. Watch out world."
Lane added: "Things are looking bright, Belle Amie have had their first song sent in. We start recording next week."
The group also dismissed claims of a split when Creighton revealed to Herald.ie: "There's no truth to that, I've no idea where that came from. Of course we were disappointed about not making it on to the X Factor tour but it just means we have to work that little bit harder now."
