Usher Wants To Create A New Genre Of Music

US R&B singer Usher has revealed that he is working to create a new genre of music on his next album.

In an interview with StyleList, the singer admitted that his new "fauxhawk" haircut was a decision he made to tie in with his new found artistic direction.

"I'm a consumer of culture and love mixing styles and inspirations, both in my music and my style," he explained.

"I'm working on a new genre of music - revolutionary pop - which combines several music genres to create a new sound experience."

"I love that people are talking about the new hair, it represents who I am now and the creative movement of revolutionary pop."
