UK producer/rapper Mike Skinner has suggested that his age is one of the reasons he has decided to retire The Streets.The 32-year-old will retire after he tours his farewell album Computers and Blues.
In an interview with BBC Radio 1, Skinner said that he did not want to be "singing 'Let's Push Things Forward' when [he's] 40".
He added that he wanted to "do something else" as he was "getting older".
"If I'd have put on a helmet like Daft Punk - sometimes I think I should have - those guys can go on forever," Skinner quipped. "They're going to be 60, and under that helmet they could be 23."
