Rihanna Ends Feud With Father

US singer Rihanna has reportedly ended her two-year feud with her father Ronald Fenty.

The pair apparently fell out after Fenty drunkenly wrecked the singer's tour bus. It is thought that their relationship became further strained when he spoke to the media about the star's assault from then boyfriend Chris Brown.

The Mirror newspaper quoted Fenty saying: "I saw her twice before Christmas and she came to see me on Christmas Day. She showered me with gifts, a lot of stuff, many shirts and cologne. She's always really generous."

"Maybe we're not as close as we were when she was growing up here and was at school. But we are blood, we do not stay angry and we are friends again."

Fenty, 57 who is a former drug addict, went on to confess that he is not surprised Rihanna reacted in the way that she did over his previous behaviour.

He added: "We did have a disagreement about the drinking on the tour. I got plastered on the tour bus. I can drink rum or beer but vodka does not like me - or gin."

"She blasted me for that - she was always lippy from her small days. I was picked up from the hotel in the morning and I was just shuttled to the airport."

Rihanna Wants To Live With Nicki Minaj

Singer Rihanna has revealed that she would like to move in with rapper Nicki Minaj.

The pair, who feature on each other's latest albums, joked that they are keen to live together during a conversation via Twitter.

On the set of filming a music video for Minaj's new single 'Fly', Rihanna posted a picture of the pair with the message: "Me and Nikki in our new crib, lol! Gettin busy on set of 'FLY'!!! It's so hard to keep my hands off!"

Minaj later replied: "Lol. If we're gonna live together and hook up u gotta learn how 2 spell my name! Lmaooooooo. Gossip Gossip ni**a just stop it!"

Rihanna responded: "B***h don't u hear me askin what my OWN name is??? Lol! My bad, I'll make it up to u wink."

Rihanna Gets A UK Number One Album


US singer Rihanna finally hits the number one spot in UK album chart with her fifth studio LP Loud after floating in the top ten since its release in November.

The 22-year-old has therefore managed to achieve the second chart double of her career, having also taken 'What's My Name?' to number one on the singles chart this week. She last topped both rankings in 2007 with her third album Good Girl Gone Bad and its lead track 'Umbrella'.

Loud, which has sold 890,000 copies to date denied UK rapper/singer Plan B of the chance to return to the top spot with The Defamation Of Strickland Banks., which had been leading the race for number one in the midweek chart update.

Eminem & Rihanna To Headline V Festival

It has been reported that U.S rapper Eminem and singer Rihanna are scheduled to headline this year's V Festival.

The rapper is said to be close to signing on the two-day UK event held in August.

The Daily Star newspaper also reports that the Eminem could also be joined on stage by Rihanna to perform their chart-topping duet 'Love The Way You Lie'.

A source said: "Eminem looks to be a done deal and it's hoped he might be joined by Rihanna for 'Love The Way You Lie' at Chelmsford or Staffordshire. Getting her to do a festival would be a real coup."

"The Arctic Monkeys weren't that pleased at how their last Reading and Leeds Festival shows went down so they feel V might be a better choice this time around."

Rihanna Rumored To Launch Clothing Line

Singer Rihanna has sparked rumours that she may be planning to launch a clothing line.

The Daily Mail newspaper reported that the singer was spotted having lunch with Topshop CEO Sir Philip Green in Barbados, reports the Daily Mail.

Simon Cowell also joined the meal at Sandy Lane Beach, which took place on December 26.

Rihanna later wrote on Twitter : "Just had dinner w/ Simon Cowell Philip Green, and Lucian G., and Ashley (thanks) @ Sandy Lane! Great night!"

Rihanna has not commented on the nature of the meeting.

Rihanna & Matt Kemp Split

Singer Rihanna has reportedly split from boyfriend Matt Kemp of nearly a year.

The singer met Kemp in Cabo San Lucas in January, where they were spotted by paparazzi, and then made their relationship official in the spring.

A source close to the singer revealed to Us Magazine: "It happened over the last few weeks. She was basically just over it."

The insider said of Kemp: "He just can't keep up with her crazy travel schedule."

"Matt's sick of always following after her like a puppy dog all over the world. He wants something more normal."

The source added: "It was never as serious as it looked. It was always just [about] having fun."

No comment from Rihanna's representative.

Rihanna's album sales has had a little help from santa, with more than 300,000 copies sold in the last seven days in the UK.

Loud has risen in the album charts to second place behind UK boy band Take That.

Rihanna posted on Twitter: "306,107 this WEEK in the UK! You sneaky little fans you! I love u guys, Thank you!!! Santa was good to me..."

The sales boost takes Loud's total sales tally to 820,000 in six weeks becoming the fourth best-selling album of 2010, behind Take That, Michael Bublé's Crazy Love and Lady GaGa's Fame Monster.

Rihanna & Matt Kemp Spend Less Time Together


Singer Rihanna and boyfriend Matt Kemp have reportedly started to spend less time together.

E Online reported, that the couple who have been dating since 2009, are said to have cancelled their plans to spend the holidays together and instead focus on their careers.

A source revealed, "Their schedules were difficult, but they made it all seem so easy being together".

"He loves her very much and I honestly believe she loves him a lot. How this plays out no-one, not even them, know at this point. [She is] still very much a kid."

Another insider added that the singer is behind the relationship's recent strain, explaining: "I don't think it's him. He would never pull the plug.

"Before he would leave training to be with her. Something has changed."

US singer Rihanna has expanded her UK tour 'Loud'.

The 'What's My Name?' singer, has added another three dates to her tour.

The star is scheduled for a further two dates at London's O2 Arena and a second date in Glasgow at the city's SECC concert hall.

Tickets for Glasgow are on sale now. London's O2 Arena dates will go on sale today at 9am.

Rihanna and Christina Aguilera Spark Complaints For Raunchy Performances on X Factor

Pop divas Rihanna and Christina Augilera's X Factor performances have sparked a series of complaints.

The Daily Mail newspaper reported that over 1,000 complaints were made about the singer's performances including their duets for being unsuitable for pre-watershed viewing.

The director of Mediawatch UK, Vivienne Pattison said: "I don’t think it was suitable for a pre-watershed broadcast, I think that’s quite clear.

"It was the simulated sexual stuff, that was the problem. I think Ofcom should look into this. Whether The X Factor like it or not they are commanding audiences of more than 19 million.

"They are role models whether they like it or not."

An investigation by the Office of Communications is said to have been launched.

Christina Aguilera Sales Boost After X Factor Performance

Christina Aguilera's record sales have seen a massive increase following her performance on The X Factor.

The singer, who sang 'Beautiful' with runner-up Rebecca Ferguson has re-entered the charts at 92. Play.com reported that Aguilera's sales increased by 400%, entering the soundtrack 'Express' of her new movie Burlesque at number 49 on iTunes.

Other guest celebrities that have appeared on X Factor have also seen a boost in sales. Rihanna, had an overall boost of 77%, while Take That's sales of their new LP Progress rose to 68%.

Robbie Williams, had a boost in solo material by 20% since performing 'She's The One' on Saturday night with One Direction.

Burlesque is out in the UK on December 17.

Tickets for the gigs will go on sale at 9am on Saturday December 11, priced between £39.50 and £55.00.

Rihanna has revealed that she was worried about blending with other female artists due to a lack of creative control over her image and sound.

The Bajan star admitted to not having full control over her music or style before her 2007 album release Good Girl Gone Bad.

The 'Only Girl In The World' singer told Bang Showbiz: "I had a ridiculous schedule. It was kind of unfair. But I kept going. I was focusing on getting people to respect me as an artist, making my stamp in the industry.

"I wasn't 100% or even 75% in control of my image or my sound. I said, 'If you guys keep this perfect image of me, people will never notice me'. I kind of blended in. It was safe, the blonde, curly hair. It was a formula. I didn't want to be like all the other artists. I wanted to stand out."

"And the only way I could do that was by taking charge of my image and sound. And it worked. Good Girl Gone Bad was a big turning point for me."

Rihanna Regrets Staying With Chris Brown

Rihanna revealed in an interview with GQ magazine that she regrets staying with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown after she was physically abuse in February 2009.

"It was a situation I always told myself I would never allow myself to be in. It's something I would force girlfriends to get out of. But there I was, sitting in it.

"I witnessed physical abuse happening to my mum and I always said I would never let that happen to me, and then it was happening to me. Now, when I look back at it, it just bugs me out that I couldn't see it for what it was," she revealed.

Rihanna also admitted that she didn't want the details of the infamous attack leaked to the press.

Rihanna Not Worried About Album Sales

The 'Only Girl In The World' singer Rihanna claims she is not worried about the first week sales of her new album.

Loud, the fifth studio album was released this week internationally opened at sales of 180,000 in the US, 10,000 less than her previous album Rated R, Hits Daily Double reports.

In an interview with U.S radio host Angie Martinez, the bajan singer said: "Never have I ever stressed out on the first week. Ever since Good Girl Gone Bad, the first week was like 160,000, and it grew to sell nine million albums. The first week never determines what the success of the album will be."

Rihanna is set to hit the second spot on the album charts on Sunday with projected sales of 70,000.
