Eminem To Perform At Brit Awards

US rapper Eminem has apparently agreed to perform at the Brits Awards in the O2 on February 15 after event organisers confirmed that he will receive an award.

A source told The Sun: "All the stops are being pulled out to make sure this year's ceremony is something to remember. Recent bashes have suffered due to an absence of truly legendary figures."

"Eminem is without doubt the biggest star the music industry has produced in the last 15 years. To have him on board is great."

"He didn't want to just perform at the ceremony so he's been assured that he will win something. What that is, organisers haven't worked out yet. But he will receive some silverware."

Jessie Wins Brit

Jessie J has won the 'Critic Choice Award 2011' at the Brits.

The singer was announce alongside The Vaccines and James Blake for the categories shortlist last week.

The prestigious award has been won by Ellie Goulding, Adele and Florence and The Machine.

"This is epic!" Jessie said of her win. "It has been a dream since I was a little girl to win a Brit. I can't believe it's happened!"

Jessie express her happiness on Twitter, writing: "Arghhhhh!!! Omg!!! I'm in shock and I'm tears!!!."

James Blake was the runner up while The Vaccines settled for third place.

Jessie J will perform at the Brits launch event on January 13. Watch the broadcast on ITV2 the following night.
