Ashley Cole Dismisses Negative Press



The Chelsea footballer claims he "doesn't care" about what the public thinks of his personal life.

In a interview with 'Five Live', Ashley Cole seemed to dismiss stories of him cheating on his ex-wife Cheryl Cole.

"What people think about off-the-field stuff - they don't know me. People that know me know I'm not that kind of guy. As long as my family, manager and teammates are happy, then I'll be happy. Other things - you just got to get on with it. It happens in life. I'm here to play football and that's it" he explained.

Mario's Charge Dropped




According to AP, the misdemeanour assault charges placed on U.S R&B singer Mario by his mother, Shawntia Hardaway have been dropped.

Mario was arrested and charged in October with second degree assault after his mother claimed he pushed her against a wall at their home.

Reports have stated that the charges have been dropped after Hardaway retracted her initial statement about the incident earlier this week.

Mario, took to his twitter account to clear his name "Glad to finally be vindicated and I wanna thank everybody who believed in me."

It is believed Hardaway admitted to being under the influence of drink when she made the allegation.

Mario's attorney told 'The AP' that the singer "remains committed" to helping his mother treat her addictions.

Lil Wayne's Three Year Drinking Ban



According to reports Lil Wayne has been hit with a three-year alcohol ban.

TMZ has claimed that Wayne's probation documents state he "may not consume or drink any substance containing alcohol" while on probation. Other terms claimed from the document, prohibited Wayne from knowingly associating himself with anyone engaged in criminal activity or with a criminal record unless he has written approval from the probation department and regular alcohol and drug tests.

Wayne was released from a New York City prison on Thursday after serving eight months of a one-year sentence for criminal possession of a weapon.

More jail time could be on the cards if Wayne's probation are violated.

Brandy 'People Call Me A Murder'

The 'Dancing With The Stars' contestant/Grammy award winner Brandy admitted in a recent interview with U.S magazine, Upscale, that people still call her a murder after the fatal car incident in 2007, which claimed the life of 38-year-old, Awatef Aboudihaj.

“People call me a murderer, they taunt me and send pictures of cars that are basically annihilated. Every report has stated that I was not at fault. People still don’t care” she explained.

Lil Wayne Released From Jail


The Hip Hop rap star was released from prison in New York City yesterday.

TMZ reported the rapper was made a free man on Thursday after completing 8 months of a one year sentence for criminal possession of a weapon.

Lil Wayne pleaded guilty to the gun charges and was sentenced in March to serve his sentence at New York's famed Rikers Island prison.

Nickname 'Weezy' was arrested in a 2007 where police discovered a gun registered to his manager in his possession whilst his tour bus was pulled over for a traffic stop.

Cheryl Cole Lands U.S Record Deal


It been reported that Cheryl Cole has landed a whopping £6 million U.S record deal with Universal.

It is believe when the X Factor judge made a short trip to Los Angeles this week, Cole went to discuss a lucrative contract with Universal.

Universal have apparently offered to release Cole's latest album 'Messy Little Raindrops' in the U.S next year and a further two albums. Specific details are still being smoothed over.

Universal bosses are said to have called Cole on Sunday night after her single 'Promise This' became the fastest-selling UK number one this year.

The police were reportedly called to the opening of the Kardashians' boutique Dash store.

E! Online claimed an unmanageable crowd stormed the boutique launch, causing New York Police Department officers to attend the scene.

Officiers calmed the crowd, as people pushed in line causing the barrier to fall.

Kim commented: "It's really crazy how many people have showed up. I wish we had a microphone to talk to them - and to come out and support us like this? We really are so thankful."

Kim Kardashian took to her blog to clear up the rumors circulating on the internet of a recorded track called 'Shake' being passed off as her own.

Frustrated Kim shouted back: "It was released on the internet today and some websites are claiming it is my voice on the track. It is not my voice. I don’t know who this “audio engineer” is claiming that he worked with me on this song, but he is a liar and a fraud. I never was in the studio with him, and he is using this to gain notoriety.

She continued, "It’s really sad what people will do for a little publicity. I want you guys to know the truth. Please don’t believe these rumors."

Peter Andre And Wiley Collaboration



Katie Price' ex, Peter Andre has revealed that he has recorded a song with Wiley.

Andre admitted the duet with rapper star Wiley will not appear on his new album 'Accelerate'.

The mysterious girl singer told the Daily Star newspaper, "This album is so different. It's a pure British-made album. The first person who got in touch about working on this was Wiley. We started doing something together and got so close to recording it but it didn't happen, so we're saving it for my next project".

He continued: "I have full respect for Wiley - he started this whole project in my mind. He's the daddy of the grime scene and now we have Dizzee and Tinie following him. The sound is not what I'm used to but I love it."

Andre explained how tough it was to change his sound. Co-producer Labrinth is one of many producers to convince Andre to bring out a new sound.

"It was a tough decision to go with the UK urban sound. I was like, 'Am I doing the right thing? Is this going to flop?'

'Can't Make This Over' will be seventh single from her debut album and second release from LP Turn It Up Louder.

The star took to her twitter page to reveal the second single.

Part time Glamour model and author, Katie Price confirmed on ITV'1's Loose Women that she has already started working on her fifth book.

"I've started on my next one already, because it's every two years... it's like a diary I do. I don't know why they call it [an] autobiography, because of course it's not, they should call it the diary really," she revealed.

"It's not done like a diary, but there's so much that happens that it just starts off and finishes off from the last one. There's lots in there actually. That's from when I had Princess, all the way up to the wedding blessings, so it's quite current." she added.

The infamous reality couple 'Speidi' (Spencer Pratt and wife Heidi Montag) are reporting facing financial difficulty.

Pratt told U.S magazine, Life & Style that they had not expected the MTV reality show (The Hills) to end after six seasons, and had not saved the money they earned.

"We were immature, worrying too much about the famous part instead of the actual business part. We thought The Hills was going to be like [the original] 90210 and we'd have another five to ten years. The ratings were consistent. But we never saw Jersey Shore coming" he explained.

The Pratts are rumoured to be homeless and owe $2m (£1.24m) in taxes.

Heidi added: "We don't want sympathy. We did this to ourselves and feel like idiots. But we've grown up and are definitely not as naive anymore".

Ex U.S President Bill Clinton has praised U.S Hip Hop rapper Lil Wayne.

U.S radio show, 96.1 Kiss FM's Morning Freak Show asked Bill what he thought of Wayne's pending release from prison. The former president commented,

"This guy's smart. And he's got abilities. And he's got a new chance now. And what I hope is that this is not just something to brand him as a cool guy, but that it'll never happen again to him."

In a recent interview with Glamour magazine, the Black Eyed Peas singer explained she no longer does hard drugs, however she does have an occasional drink.

"Well, I'm not claiming to be sober. I think that that would be misleading. I drink alcohol. My father has a vineyard, and [the wine is] really delicious, by the way... Anyway, for most addicts, they would advise never to have any sort of substance."

Geldof is said to distraught over the split but insiders have suggested that the pair agreed to remain friends.

The Mirror newspaper reported that a source explained:

"Peaches is really sad that things didn't work out with Eli. They were very much in love and she'd never been so nuts about a guy."

The reasons why the couple have split are unknown however an insider has suggested:

"But both are hard workers and have huge work ­commitments ­coming up, so they were due to be spending too much time apart. It was almost better for them to part ways before things got even trickier with making time for each other."

Girls Aloud singer, Kimberley Walsh revealed that the group and Dannii Minogue get on a lot better than they used to.

Walsh explained that there "wasn't a great vibe" between the stars.

Walsh revealed in her column for OK magazine that since Cheryl Cole joined the X Factor it has calmed the feud.

She wrote:

"It really seems like Dannii has mellowed and warmed over the years. She's always really friendly and lovely when I see her at The X Factor. Back in the early days of Girls Aloud, the press created a feud between us and Dannii - in truth there wasn't a great vibe between us all back then but it got completely blown out of proportion and we didn't really know her at all."

Walsh added: "You shouldn't really judge someone from one meeting."

Rihanna confirmed to MTV News that she would love to do concert tour with bestie Katy Perry.

"I would love to tour with Katy. She's a rockstar," Rihanna said. "And when I see her live, she just brings such a fun [vibe], like a colourful rockstar. She has all these [stage props]" she explained.

She added: "She has candy and fruit and a blown-up ChapStick onstage, but then she's rocking out with a guitar and banging her head and swinging onstage and crowdsurfing. That's the s**t that just makes you excited when you see her perform. She's beautiful, but then she rocks out."

Rihanna previously revealed this week that her new album was recorded in a car park. Her new album 'Loud' will be released on November 16.

Nadine Coyle Poor Single Sales



Girls Aloud singer gone solo, Nadine Coyle has reportedly had a terrible start to debut single, selling only 117 on the first day of release.

The Sun newspaper reported, 'Insatiable' charted at number 35 in midweek sells.

Coyle signed an exclusivity deal with supermarket Tesco, for the single (CD) to be sold only within the retailer's stores. On the plus side 'Insatiable' sold 2,439 copies digitally.

Bandmate Cheryl Cole's 'Promise This' sold 566 CDs and 27,643 downloads on her first day of release last week.

Coyle's single however did received limited radio support and missed one day of release as her single wasn't available to download on iTunes until Monday.

Tragic news for Lily Allen this week after losing her second child. Lily's publicist released this statement on behalf of Lily and her partner Sam Cooper.

“It is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and Sam Cooper have lost their baby. The couple ask that their privacy be respected and that they be left alone at this deeply distressing time. No further comment will be made”.

Lily previously suffered a miscarriage in 2007 with her first child.

Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon Confirms Pregnancy

Although this may be no surprise to the superstar fans, Mariah Carey has finally revealed she is expecting her first child.

The couple had this to say on the US morning show, Access Hollywood.

"Yes, we are pregnant. This is true. It's been a long journey. It's been tough because I've been trying to hold on to a shred of privacy."

Carey, 41 reveal that the couple had miscarried two years ago soon after tying the knot in 2008.

"It kind of shook us both and took us into a place that was really dark and difficult," she said. "When that happened ... I wasn't able to even talk to anybody about it. That was not easy."

Cannon, 30, added, "Her strength would literally be during the day so festive and smiling, literally that night crying herself to sleep ... definitely brought us closer together. It strengthened our relationship so much ... She handled it so well."

No word on the sex of the baby, although Carey did hint of a possible spring birth.

Lady Gaga Most Popular Female Artist


According to Nokia, Lady GaGa is the most popular female artist globally on Ovi Music Unlimited.

Nokia publicised numbers this week based on download trends across 38 markets, giving Lady GaGa the lead with two of the five most downloaded tracks on the service. The UK being Gaga's biggest fans accounted for the largest share of her downloads, followed by China, Finland and Brazil.

Gaga dominated the total share of downloads with 40%, Rihanna at 24%, Kesha at 11%, Shakira at 10%, Katy Perry at 8%, Miley Cyrus at 5% and lastly Alexandra Burke with 1%.
