Fans Angry At Lauryn Hill's Tardiness

Hip Hop rapper/singer Lauryn Hill angered fans in Brooklyn after keeping them waiting for nearly four hours ahead of a concert on Thursday.

The New York Times reported that the singer was due on stage at the Music Hall of Williamsburg at 8pm but did not show up until after midnight.

Two audience members made signs reading "You Just Lost One" and "This Is Insulting" expressing their frustration.

Hill responded, “I spent my entire 20s sacrificing my life to give you love. So when I hear people complain, I don’t know what to tell you,” she told the audience by way of apology."

“I personally know I’m worth the wait.”

Lauryn Hill Announces Intimate Tour


R&B singer/rapper Lauryn Hill will he holding a 17 date tour in small venues around the United States.

Music Remedy revealed the singer will start her first show later this month.

A statement was released saying, "[Lauryn] will appear with a live band and big sound at some of the country’s most well-respected music venues, giving fans who have been anxiously awaiting her return to the stage something truly special."

Hill will play six dates in New York City and one off shows in cities; Charlotte, Asheville, Charleston, Atlanta, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal and Atlantic City.

The tour will end on February 4, 2011 in Montclair, NJ.
