Amy Winehouse To Unveil New Material On Tour

Reports have suggested that UK Solo singer Amy Winehouse will unveil her new material on her upcoming tour in Brazil.

The star's backing singers, Zalon and Heshima Thompson, tweeted on Twitter: "Amy Winehouse, Zalon, Heshima and band rehearsing for Brazil tour. Get ready! New songs."

They also posted an image of Winehouse in rehearsals with the message: "Amy Winehouse in today's rehearsal. Great rehearsal and her voice sounded WICKED!!!! Can't wait for Brazil - Heshima."

The singer's four date tour kicks off in Florianopolis on January 8.

Amy Winehouse Paid A Million For New Year's Eve Gig

British Soul singer Amy Winehouse has reportedly be paid £1m to perform at a private party in Moscow on New Year's Eve.

The Sun newspaper reported the singer will perform for a Russian billionaire and his guests and is using the gig to prepare for her upcoming dates in Brazil.

A source revealed, "This is the strongest Amy has felt in a very long time.

"She is determined to go down in history as a world-class performer, not someone who ruined a spectacular talent through drugs. The long road back starts in Moscow. This is like a warm-up with a nice financial bonus."

Her spokesman added: "Amy is warming up for her Brazil dates. She's keen to perform in front of a live audience again."

Amy Winehouse Wants To Write A Song For X Factor Finalist


X Factor finalists Rebecca Ferguson has claimed that troubled star Amy Winehouse is interested in writing a song for her.

Winehouse is not the only star queuing in line to work with The X Factor favourite.

Ferguson told The Sun newspaper, "Adele actually wrote me a letter. It was such a surprise and I felt very privileged. I'm a big fan of her music and it's a good feeling to have such a talented person say they like my voice."

She added : "Paloma Faith has said she would be interested in working with me. I also heard a rumour that Amy Winehouse would like to write a song for me. They are both such amazing artists, I feel really flattered."

"You can't be cocky about something that you were given as a gift."

Amy Winehouse Annouces One Off Tour

The 'Rehab' singer Amy Winehouse has announced a 'one-off' tour of Brazil in January.

A post on the singer's official website revealed that Winehouse will perform three gigs for the country's Summer Soul festival in Florianopolis, Recife and Sao Paulo, in addition to special concert in Rio de Janeiro.

This will be the singers first full live shows in close to two years.

U.S singer Janelle Monae will be the supporting act for the Summer Soul concerts whilst rapper Mayer Hawthorne will open for Winehouse in Rio.
