50 Cent Signs X Factor's Gamu

US Hip Hop rapper 50 Cent has signed X Factor reject Gamu Nhengu to his record label.

The former X Factor contestant, who was eliminated from last year's competition at the Judges' Houses stage, is said to have penned a record deal with the rapper's label G-Note under the name Miss Gamuchirai.

Micro Blog Buzz reported that "Miss Gamuchirai has been singed to 50 Cent's new record label G-Note."

"G-Note will focus on 50's favourite acts that don't fit neatly into G-Unit's hip-hop categorisation and will favour pop and R&B artists."

The site also claims that Nhengu was forced to wait until her contract with The X Factor was over before she could agree the deal.

It said: "It is believed that many labels have been interested in signing Gamu but G-Note offered the best deal and are best connected to make her dreams reality."

50 Cent Caught Up In Copyright Infringement Lawsuit


A US Atlanta rapper has filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against US rapper 50 Cent.

The AP reported rapper Tyrone Simmons aka Caliber, claims 50 Cent and others infringed on his rights by using an instrumental music track that only he had exclusive permission to use.

Simmons's lawsuit also named the producer who created 50 Cent's track 'I Get Money' as well as several companies in the music industry.

No comment yet from 50 Cent about the lawsuit.

50 Cent Reveals Duet With Micheal Jackson

50 Cent revealed to MTV that he was "nervous" about dueting with the late Michael Jackson on forthcoming track of what he calls the "2010 version of 'Thriller'".

"I don't usually get nervous, because I really don't care about a lot of the artists but Mike is special. He's different. I don't know how to explain it. When I sat down and listened to the actual song, I was excited. I said, 'This is the 2010 version of 'Thriller''

He added, "I missed an opportunity to be on a record not just with a great artist, but a legend. So I wanted more, and I made adjustments to my cadence so I don't sound like I sound on music that people have previously heard from me, because I'm adjusting to the production."

The song 'Monster' will be included on the Michael album, scheduled for release on December 13.
